A.N.I. plays Cupid!
Many people, living with various mental health problems, are discriminated and judged for their abilities to cohabitate with their partners. Most of them face stigma while finding their partners after telling them the truth of living with a mental health disorder. However, marriage can give a greater treatment outcome for any people living with Schizophrenia and many other mental health disorders.
Choose Psychiatry
Choose Psychiatry
A.N.I. Joka organised India's first "Choose Psychiatry" event to encourage Indian medical students to choose "Psychiatry" as their speciality. The institute has collaborated with Royal College of Psychiatrist, UK, who started the campaign first a year before this event. Dr Kate Lovett, Dean, of Royal College of Psychiatrist and Dr Gagan Garg, Consultant Psychiatrist from Royal Darwin Hospital, Australia were invited to speak. Around 200 medical students from all over India attended this event, and Dr Lovett praised the event later in various newspapers and newsletters.
Our Organic Farming
Our Organic Farming
A.N.I. is back again with their organic farming. Every year, especially during winter, the institute gets prepared with lots of vegetables like Cauliflower, Aubergine, Broccoli, Tomato, and involve the patients admitted there to take care of these newly grown vegetables. This works as psycho rehabilitation therapy, helps them to connect with nature and makes them understand that organic living and eating is a way of life.
